Mr Mister - Broken Wings

The song "Broken Wings" is a 1985 rock anthem by American band Mr Mister.

It is a song that I have loved for a long time, so I decided to produce my own rendition of it, by using software-based synthesisers and MIDI sequencing.

However, as I have discovered on this journey of electronic music production, the sound and feel of sequenced guitars is just not right.  The only way to achieve the sound and feel of a guitar is to use a real guitar.

Initially I sequenced Steve Farris's guitar parts by hand, but I decided instead to use my Music Man Luke III Maple Top to play the guitar parts.  It sounds a lot better, and was a lot more fun!
