Newport Surge
A small group of seascapers headed out to Newport Beach this morning for a dawn shoot with an inter-state visitor from South Australia.
The sky put on a show of splendid colours this morning — something I rarely get to see when I am armed with a camera, out on a shoot.
Here is the result as the strong swell surged in and around me, over a rock shelf on the northern headland.
As the image suggests, I was right in the thick of it, and the surge had sufficient power to move me at one point.
Fun times!
