Strolling in the Rain
In the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, we were privileged to experience numerous elephant sightings.
This was one of the more memorable sightings, as the afternoon was gloomy, rainy and quite atmospheric, and we had found an impressive elephant bull out in the open.
While elephants appear to walk slowly, they actually move more quickly than one would think, so we were constantly challenged to change our position so that we could capture this impressive elephant strolling through the open savannah in the rain.
This particular elephant is missing one tusk, which may have been the result of a clash with another bull.
