Baby Hippo on the Mara River
During our most recent trip to the Maasai Mara region of Kenya, we did not see many hippos, but during a stop on the southern shore of the Mara River in the Mara North Conservancy, we were fortunate enough to spot a juvenile hippo on a mud bank in the very shallow river.
