Leopard Gorge
This is Leopard Gorge in the Mara North Conservancy, south-western Kenya.
It was made famous by the BBC production 'Big Cat Diary', which featured several leopards which inhabited this location.
In fact, on our first visit to Leopard Gorge in 2015, we found a young male leopard here, as well as two large male lions from the resident Cheli Pride on another visit during that trip.
This time, no leopards were found; but we did see baboons, hyraxes, hyenas and an eland as we spent time photographing both the landscape and its current inhabitants.
