Queen Mary Falls
During our first trip to Queensland in four years, we headed south of Brisbane to Queen Mary Falls, near Killarney in the Darling Downs region.
Cloud cover was expected, and given recent rain in the Gold Coast hinterland, potentially promising conditions for waterfall photography awaited us.
From the lookout on the northern side of the falls, it is a spectacular view down into the creek below, and a 14mm lens nicely conveys the expanse of the scene.
