Striking Gaze

A tightly-framed, black and white portrait of model and artist Shani, shot during our first session at Oatley Park.

Shani's eyes are always so penetrating and striking, and while she is a creative person herself, she is equally comfortable in front of a camera.

Lighting information:

1.  Canon Speedlite 580EX II dialled into 1/64th power at 35mm zoom, positioned at 45 degrees camera left, shot through a 42" translucent umbrella and triggered with a PocketWizard PLUS II.

2.  Canon Speedlite 580EX dialled into 1/32nd power at 70mm, placed on the floor behind the model, pointed at the wall and triggered with a PocketWizard PLUS II.

3.  Silver 80cm reflector dish positioned at 45 degrees camera right.
